It's great fun in there! The new SO is a fantastic, fast circuit and like CRommi said, it's fantastic fun with the FBM!

I like the racing line! Helps me, a person who isn't fantastic at LFS, to learn the tracks a bit better!

I do however think it's quite a bad idea! As we're updating LFS and making it more realistic the devs are adding, the racing line is an example, unrealistic things to the game!

Yes, it's a good idea, great in fact, but you wouldn't get a line on the floor in real racing so personally, even though I like it, I think it should go!

Yeah. Or maybe a 3D marshall, like they have now, just holding a 2D flag still. I think it'll be implemented very soon actually!

If you're gonna make it as realistic as possible then yeah, get rid of the map. The map does help though.

I also think they should get rid (and probably will in patches to come) of the 'Yellow flag' and 'Blue flag' warnings and replace them with yellow and blue flags being waved by marshalls at the side of the track. I think that is a suitable and realistic change that they could make!

Got back into LFS lately and very into it now with the arrival of the new patch and I've been thinking I wouldn't really mind joining a team! I'd like to participate in leagues and races etc. as I'm a bit crap and would like to improve.

I'm 14 so I can't join most major teamsd because they habve age restrictions now. I have around 7.5k miles and I'm 'slightly fast'
I'm not slow but i'm not hyper s[peed either.

Anyway, look forward to your replies!

I'll join. Not famed for my fantastic driving. Still aren't but I used to use auto. I tried the new training lessons where you have to use manual and after getting used to the clutch I actually might start using manual permanantely which, in the long run, will make me better.

Plus, even though it's harder, LFS is named 'the most realistic driving sim' and, yes it is the most realistic driving sim but it isn't half as realistic as real driving (not that I'd know as I'm 14 but I guess)so making it more realistic as fantastic!

This would be a really good event and my first endurance event if I entered but I need a team and that's not an easy thing for me to get reaslly. I'm very interested in this though!

Oh yeah, another question, 18+ was mentioned in a post further up! Is there an age limit because I'm only 14?

I do actually go on cruise servers quite frequently. I searched for a race server todayg though. I went on CTRA which, for a racer of my calibre, is uber-hard! I couldn't keep up at all!

Then I went okn a server where there was qualifying and everybody spoke German and it was an FOX race.

The only other race servers are Redline Racing which is always FOX and just BL mostly, servers with about 5 people in (like the one I went in) which are pretty bleak places really with no real action and empty servers which are shit.

Cruise servers are pretty much all that is there that is a bit fun so I go on them quite alot!

I've been looking at your team quite alot lately and wondering if I should apply (by "looking" btw, I mean watching a few drivers i've seen online and generally following threads etc.). You seem like a good team. I'm not sure you'd take someone like me on though?

I have, exactly, 7529 miles and 24 out of 153 race wins. 71 podium finishes. I'm, compared to other people if i'm honest, not super fast but I also don't class myself as being crap!
